92nd Academy Awards Winners/Oscars 2020

Oscar award is an annual award given to recognise the achievements of performers, directors, technicians, producers, etc. These are presented by the Motion Picture Arts for their achievement in specific category. Rs.50lakh insurance cover for COVID-19 warriors announced by the central government

The government announced Rs. 1.7 crore economic package for poor workers under the Pradhan MantriGaribKalyanYojana. Medical services providers including nurses, sanitation staff, etc. will be provided medical insurance cover of Rs. 50 lakh per person. Under the scheme Prime Minister Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana , 5 kg wheat and rice will be given for next three months to 80crore people and one kg of pulse will be given per family for free . Jan Dhan Account holder women will be provided with Rs.500 per month and poor citizen, windows will get one thousand rupees in two instalments for next three months. 80 crore families would be provided by LPG gas cylinder free of cost for next three months under Ujjwala scheme. Under MNREGA the wages of workers increased by Rs. 20 from 182 to 202 rupees which will provide additional Rs.2000 to a worker. Use of indelible ink allowed for home quarantined

The use of indelible ink to stamp on the hands of those people who are suspected of being infected with coronavirus has been allowed by the Election Commission. The secretary, health ministry, all chief electoral officers of the states and the manufacturer of the ink have been informed about the “ Home quarantined stamp”. The ink is prepared by the Mysore Paints & Varnish Limited, which is an undertaking of the Karnataka government. “ Home quarantined ” means people who are suspects of having coronavirus or are suffering from cold, should stay isolate themselves in a separate room at home. Relaxation for filing income tax returns and withdrawing money from ATMs

F inance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced several me asures to give relief to the people and business classes in the wake of  Coronavirus outbreak in the country. Last date of filing income tax return for the year financial year 2018 - 19 has been extended till 30 June of this year and several schemes like PAN and  Aadhaar linking and Vivadse Vishwa s scheme have also been extended till 30 June. There is no need to pay additional 10% by those people who want to take benefit from th is scheme. The last date for filing GST for March, April and May 2020 and composition returns also extended till June. The penalty on delayed payment of income tax has been reduced from 12% to 9%.
