The government announced Rs. 1.7 crore economic package for poor workers under the Pradhan MantriGaribKalyanYojana. Medical services providers including nurses, sanitation staff, etc. will be provided medical insurance cover of Rs. 50 lakh per person. Under the scheme Prime Minister Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana , 5 kg wheat and rice will be given for next three months to 80crore people and one kg of pulse will be given per family for free . The use of indelible ink to stamp on the hands of those people who are suspected of being infected with coronavirus has been allowed by the Election Commission. The secretary, health ministry, all chief electoral officers of the states and the manufacturer of the ink have been informed about the “ Home quarantined stamp”. The ink is prepared by the Mysore Paints & Varnish Limited, which is an undertaking of the Karnataka government. “ Home quarantined ” means people who are suspects of having coronavirus or are suffering from cold, should stay isolate themselves in a separate room at home. F inance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced several me asures to give relief to the people and business classes in the wake of  Coronavirus outbreak in the country. Last date of filing income tax return for the year financial year 2018 - 19 has been extended till 30 June of this year and several schemes like PAN and  Aadhaar linking and Vivadse Vishwa s scheme have also been extended till 30 June.
