The use of indelible ink to stamp on the hands of those people who are suspected of being infected with coronavirus has been allowed by the Election Commission. The secretary, health ministry, all chief electoral officers of the states and the manufacturer of the ink have been informed about the “ Home quarantined stamp”. The ink is prepared by the Mysore Paints & Varnish Limited, which is an undertaking of the Karnataka government. “ Home quarantined ” means people who are suspects of having coronavirus or are suffering from cold, should stay isolate themselves in a separate room at home. F inance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced several me asures to give relief to the people and business classes in the wake of  Coronavirus outbreak in the country. Last date of filing income tax return for the year financial year 2018 - 19 has been extended till 30 June of this year and several schemes like PAN and  Aadhaar linking and Vivadse Vishwa s scheme have also been extended till 30 June. There is no need to pay additional 10% by those people who want to take benefit from th is scheme. The last date for filing GST for March, April and May 2020 and composition returns also extended till June. The penalty on delayed payment of income tax has been reduced from 12% to 9%.
