Shivraj Singh Chouhan takes oath as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister

Chouhan became chief minister of Madhya
Pradesh for the
fourth time after the Congress government leader Kamal Nath lost majority. Shivraj Singh Chouhan took oath on
Monday night at the Raj Bhavan in Bhopal. The governor of MP LaljiTandon
administered the oath of office to the nee chief minister.
Due to coronavirus,
no leader travelled from Delhi to Bhopal for legislature
party meeting. The central observers Arun Singh and Vinay Sahasrabuddhe
participated through the video conferencing and Prime Minister Narendra Modi
also congratulated Shivraj Singh Chouhan as the new chief minister in a tweet.
After taking oath as
MP’s 32nd chief minister, he had a meeting for the steps taken to
reduce the coronavirus from the country.And he said, our priority is to fight
with coronavirus and it’s our responsibility to protect older people and our
families from this virus.People have to follow the instruction given by the
government from time to time to defeat this pandemic.
Madhya Pradesh is a
state of central India and its capital is Bhopal. The National flower of
Madhya Pradesh is White Lilly. The state is also famous for its
monuments like Khajuraho temples and great Sachi Stupa
constructed during the time of King Ashoka. The state animal of Madhya Pradesh is “Barasingha,” which also known as swamp deer.
