AFCAT (01) 2020 Results Out, Check now


AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) is conducted twice a year in February and August. This examination is for both males and females who so ever wants to join Indian air force. The candidates are selected for Class-1 Gazetted officers in flying and ground duties for both technical and non-technical posts. 



In this exam, candidates are selected on the basis of their performances in marks in online exam and Air Force Selection Board (AFSB). Candidates who are applying for ground duties (Technical Branches) have to appear in both AFCAT and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT).

AFCAT 1 Result 2020 is available now. Candidates can check their Results through the candidate’s Login for which candidates need email ID, password and captcha code. 
Follow the steps to download the result:
  1. Visit the official website of AFCAT.
  2. Login with your credentials
  3. Click Result and AFSB selection link
  4. The result will appear on the screen containing: 

  • Registration number
  • Name of candidate
  • AFCAT cut off 
  • Obtained score
  • Qualifying status


After the declaration of AFCAT Result, a list of qualifying candidates is prepared by IAF. Qualified candidates are invited at one of the AFSB(Dehradun, Mysore, Gandhinagar, Varanasi) for next process. The candidates have to select AFSB Date and venue and download the interview call letter.

There are three stages in AFSB Interview: 
  1. Officer intelligence rating test along with picture perception and discussion test.
  2. Psychological test
  3. Computerised pilot selection system (CPSS)- only for the Flying Branch


Cut-off of AFCAT 2020 will be declared along with the exam result. The last three year’s AFCAT Cut-off for both sessions are:
